Who is English & Friends for?
It's for women who already understand and speak some English (low to high intermediate, A2–B2) but want to speak more, learn new vocabulary, and feel more comfortable and confident using English in everyday life.
What do we do at English & Friends?
English & Friends is all about using English in real life.
We get together to talk, connect, learn new words and expressions, and become more comfortable speaking English.
Our activities are designed to give you plenty of opportunities to practice speaking and to meet other women in the community, without the pressure of a traditional English class.

💬 CONVERSATION CLUB 💬
Wednesdays at 6pm
(in my in-home classroom in Woodbridge)
Each week, we explore a different topic through conversation, questions, vocabulary, useful expressions/idioms, and sometimes a little grammar.
🚶♀️ WALK & TALK 🚶♀️
Fridays at 10am
(at local parks and neighborhoods in and around Woodbridge, VA)
We walk, chat, and practice English together while enjoying some fresh air and good company.

Who am I?
Hi, I'm Carmen! 🤗 I'm a private ESL teacher and language-learning coach, and I created English & Friends because I wanted women in our community to have a place to actually use their English, not just study it.
